Innovation OnBoard (IOB) is a student-led organization that helps students and researchers turn ideas into real-world impact. Since 2017, IOB has connected emerging innovators with mentors, industry leaders, investors, incubators, and academic partners through workshops, speaker panels, networking events, and our flagship Pitch Competition.

To date, the University of Toronto chapter of IOB has engaged 2,000+ individuals, worked with 40+ mentors and judges, delivered 15+ events, supported 66 pitch teams, and connected 21 teams with incubators. By bridging academic talent with practical expertise and industry opportunities, we aim to equip the next generation of innovators with the skills, confidence, and network to build meaningful solutions and ventures.
